How Do I Work This?

This Is Not My Regular Skin File!

Actually it's rather simple. These Single Mission add-ons are intended to allow
single mission and quick start use of planes not offered in ECAP. They include a
sample skin (tpc files), the model (3dz files), and the proper name, flight model
and gun placement (planes.dat, pnames.str, and *.flt files). Basically all you
have to do is copy all of the files contained in "The Files" folder, replacing any
that might be in your EAW directory and you are good to go. You will now be able
to select the new craft in the slot for the one you replaced (for example: A26
Invader in the P 38H slot).

Now some will be concerned about replacing their planes.dat, pnames.str and *.flt
files. In fact, if you do not use ECAP (use should start right now!) you will have
to keep backups to delete this addition and return your prior settings. If you use
ECAP, all you have to do is open the program and it automatically creates a new
planes.dat, pnames.str and *.flt files to match whatever settings you have in ECAP.
Thus, you don't need backups for these files if you use ECAP. As for the skins
(tpc and 3dz files), you must delete them manually or use the skin swapping program
of your choice, STAB or SKINS N MORE.

NOTE: the planes.dat file may result in some changes to the flight models etc. of
some of your other planes. This will depend on what you have set. This cannot be
avoided, yet, by currently available utilities. Thus, you may only wish to use the
included planes.dat file when you are actually flying the particular add-on.

We have tried to give credit to the Skin Artists. If we have neglected someone please
let us know! For instance, who made that Mustang IV? Any skin for the particular
model can be used by simply renaming the tpc files to match the new slot and use them
instead of the included ones.

We also must thank Paulo Morais for MSKINMOD and Jeroen van Soest for EAW Aircraft
Editor. These are the utilities used to create these add-ons.

Hope you enjoy these.
